American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 La Crosse Area Planning Committee The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) has solicited for local ARRA fund applications in two "Stages." Stage 1 applications were due February 18, 2009. One STP-Urban project in our area, the Oak Avenue South project in Onalaska and La Crosse was deemed eligible and has been forwarded for ARRA funding of about $1,300,000 with a May 27, 2009 Letting. Stage 2 applications were due April 8, 2009 with three dates ("tracks") for required Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E) packages and other requirements, including inclusion in the LAPC Transportation Improvement Project (TIP). See this WisDOT web page for application requirements. These applications will be reviewed by WisDOT for eligibility and forwarded to the LAPC for prioritization. Stage 2 applications submitted are being posted here (as they become available) for review by TAC and LAPC Policy Board members:
